The Tom Dixon Melt Wall Light, part of the Melt range by Tom Dixon, is a compact decorative surface-mounted wall light that reads like molten glass. Made in Germany, this sculptural piece uses an integrated LED module to deliver an artistic, atmospheric glow while doubling as a reflective object when switched off.

Its form is an intentionally distorted orb with fluid, irregular undulations that mimic a melting surface. The Melt is available in Smoke, Gold, Copper, and Chrome finishes to suit a range of schemes and interiors.

Crafted using a high‑tech manufacturing technique, the Melt achieves a flawless 'melted' orb effect and a mirror-like finish on the exterior. A small cylindrical mounting base keeps the profile compact and surface-mounted for easy placement.

When illuminated the integrated LED creates a translucent internal glow and complex light patterns; when off the high-shine finish reads as a decorative mirror object. It functions as a sculptural ambient accent ideal for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms.

The Melt is surface-mounted via its integrated cylindrical base and includes an integrated LED module, so no separate lamp is required. It is rated IP20 for interior use and comes with a 3-year warranty.
