At LMO, we're committed to responsible recycling under the UK’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. This ensures electrical items are safely disposed of, reducing environmental impact.

 

Why It Matters

Electrical waste is one of the UK’s fastest-growing waste streams. When not properly recycled, items like old light fittings can leak harmful substances into the environment. Recycling conserves resources and prevents pollution.

 

Our WEEE Promise

When you buy a new electrical item from us, you can return your old equivalent item for free recycling. We’ll handle its disposal in line with WEEE regulations. Look out for the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on packaging—these items should never go in your regular bin.

 

How to Recycle

Use our take-back service or your local recycling facility to dispose of old electricals responsibly. Never attempt electrical repairs yourself—always consult a qualified professional.
