Tom Dixon Melt Surface Wall Light is a decorative surface-mounted wall light from the Melt range by Tom Dixon. Made in Germany, this piece pairs a molten, orb-like form with a polished chrome look to deliver ambient illumination and a sculptural focal point in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms.

The design deliberately distorts a bulbous shade into a liquid, melted silhouette that reads like blown glass. The fixture sits on a compact cylindrical wall plate and is finished in a bright, mirror-like chrome that reads as a reflective accent when the light is off.

Built using a high‑tech German manufacturing technique, the Melt achieves a fluid, glassy appearance with a smooth, high‑gloss surface. The contrast between the irregular shade and the precise mounting base gives the light a modern, industrial-leaning edge.

An integrated LED module is concealed inside the distorted body to create a mesmerising hot‑blown glass effect when lit; when switched off the polished chrome produces a mirror finish that reflects its surroundings.
