Tom Dixon Melt Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant from the Melt range by Tom Dixon. Its irregular, organic form echoes a drop of molten glass or liquid metal, making it a strong decorative focal point for indoor spaces such as dining areas, kitchens and living rooms.

The design leans into a fluid, naturalistic aesthetic with a highly reflective, semi-metallised shade. It is available in Copper, Smoke, Chrome and Gold, so you can match the Melt to both contemporary and more traditional interiors.

Build quality combines modern plastics with specialist finishing techniques. The shade is formed from metallised polycarbonate produced by blow moulding and vacuum metallisation, creating a lightweight but mirror-like surface that alters with viewing angle and ambient light.

Lighting comes from an integrated 6W LED that delivers around 800 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature with a CRI of 90. The LED is mains-dimmable and compatible with leading and trailing edge dimmers, producing an ambient glow that interacts with the reflective finish for dramatic, variable effects.

The pendant is supplied with a 250cm clear suspension cable for flexible siting and is rated IP20 for indoor use only. A circular mounting cap sits at the apex where the shade connects to the suspension. The product is backed by a 3 year warranty.
