The Tom Dixon Melt Pendant is a multi-drop pendant from the Melt range by Tom Dixon. This striking ceiling light features an organic, molten-glass aesthetic and is designed to deliver decorative ambient lighting for indoor spaces such as living rooms, dining areas and entryways.

Each installation comprises five individual pendant units hung at staggered heights from a single, flat circular ceiling canopy. The irregular, distorted globular shades and variation in sizes create a sculptural cluster that reads like art from every angle. The pendant is offered in Smoke, Gold, Copper and Chrome finishes.

Shades are formed to achieve a liquid-metal look using blow moulding and semi-metallised plating techniques. The result is a durable polycarbonate shade with a high-shine, plated surface that catches and distorts its surroundings for a dynamic visual effect.

When lit the Melt Pendant becomes subtly translucent, producing a warm, atmospheric glow. It is supplied with an integrated warm white 3000K LED light source and is mains dimmable, compatible with both leading and trailing edge dimmer systems. Its primary role is decorative and ambient illumination rather than task lighting.

The fixture is intended for indoor use and carries an IP20 rating. It mounts from a single ceiling canopy and includes the integrated LED light source. The product is covered by a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
