The Tom Dixon Melt Floor Lamp is a sculptural floor lamp from the Melt range, designed by Tom Dixon for contemporary interiors. Its dramatic molten-look shade and tall conical base make it ideal as an ambient statement piece in living rooms and reception spaces.

The design pairs a strict, geometric tapered metal base with an organic, globular shade that appears to have been molten and set mid-flow. The lamp is offered in a wide range of finishes to suit different interiors.

Construction combines a high-gloss metal base with a translucent plastics or acrylic shade that produces complex internal reflections and layered opacity. The reflective finish on the base creates a mirror-like presence that complements the fluid form above.
