The Astro Taro Square Adjustable Recessed Downlight from the Taro range by Astro is a modern, square recessed downlight engineered for architectural ceiling installation and directional interior illumination. Its slim, flat square faceplate and recessed circular gimbal create a crisp, contemporary appearance suitable for living rooms, kitchens and gallery spaces.

The design pairs a minimalist square outer trim with a recessed, tilting gimbal so you can angle the beam where you need it. The visible exterior is finished in a neutral white for a clean, unobtrusive look that suits contemporary ceilings.

Built for a low-profile, architectural aesthetic, the fitting conceals internal components for a neat ceiling integration while offering the adjustability of a spotlight. The simple geometry delivers a modern alternative to traditional round recessed fittings.

The downlight accepts 1 x GU10 lamp (50W max) and shows the multi-faceted reflector typical of GU10 lamps, making it compatible with LED GU10 replacements for energy-efficient, directional light. The gimbal allows precise beam aiming for accent, task or ambient applications.

The fixture is designed for recessed mounting to sit flush with the ceiling. It is an indoor-use product with an IP20 rating and does not include an integrated driver or lamp; a compatible GU10 lamp is required. The product is backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
