The Astro Taro Recessed Downlight from Astro's Taro range is a minimalist recessed ceiling downlight that pairs a square outer trim with a circular, deep-set aperture. Its clean lines and matte-white visible housing create an architectural look suited to interior lighting schemes.

A flat, square outer trim is designed to sit flush against the ceiling while a smooth, beveled inner baffle forms a deep circular opening. The design deliberately contrasts a circular light source within a square frame for a neat, modern aesthetic.

The visible housing is finished in a uniform matte white, giving a discreet, integrated appearance once installed. A multi-faceted parabolic reflector is recessed within the aperture to blend form with purposeful optical control.

Deep-set lamp placement and the beveled inner baffle help reduce glare by shielding the light source from horizontal view. The faceted reflector produces a controlled, directional beam suitable for accenting, task illumination or creating focused pools of light.
