The Astro Taro Recessed Downlight from Astro is a ceiling-mounted recessed downlight designed for discreet, focused interior illumination. Part of the Taro range, this fixture pairs an architectural stepped trim with practical anti-glare performance for modern homes and commercial interiors.

Design features include a circular, multi-tiered stepped trim with an outer mounting ring and a secondary inner beveled ring that recedes toward the light source. The visible surfaces show a smooth, matte white finish for clean integration with light-coloured ceilings.

Inside, the housing holds a multi-faceted reflector surface that helps shape and control the beam while maximising luminous efficiency. The deep-set lamp position reduces glare and improves visual comfort in living rooms, corridors, and offices.
