The Stilnovo Saliscendi Pendant is a rise-and-fall ceiling pendant from Stilnovo, designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. This mid-century inspired lighting piece pairs an architectural silhouette with practical height adjustment, making it ideal for dining tables, kitchens and general interior ambient lighting.

Its tiered shade construction combines a wide, shallow domed disc above a stepped, bell-shaped lower housing for a layered, graphic profile. The fixture is offered in Red, White and Green, with the model shown in a high-gloss finish.

The pendant is built with a metal body and a visible multi-cord suspension that keeps the lamp stable while moving. A black cylindrical ceiling rose conceals the mounting and pulley mechanism, and white internal elements are visible in the lower housing.

Lighting is designed for localised or ambient illumination; the layered shade directs light downward while the stepped form adds architectural interest to the room. The pull-ring and integrated pulley let you lower the lamp for cleaning or table-level tasks and raise it when you need more clearance.

This model features an integrated pulley system (visible red wheels) and a bottom pull-ring for manual height adjustment. It carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
