The Sollux Salgado Surface Ceiling Light is a compact, surface-mounted ceiling fixture from Sollux's Salgado range that puts natural materials front and centre. Crafted in a simple cylindrical form, this interior downlight celebrates wood grain and exposed-bulb charm while delivering practical ceiling illumination.

Design-wise the Salgado is a minimalist wooden cylinder with a recessed base that showcases the lamp. The open-base, exposed-bulb aesthetic gives the bulb a starring role. It is available in Natural Wood and Concrete finishes.

Built from finished wood, the Salgado shows visible grain and a smooth, subtle sheen. The seamless cylinder and precise recession for the socket underline a clean, contemporary feel and careful workmanship.

Lighting comes from a single E27 lamp (max 15W LED) seated in the recessed base, creating a direct downlight and accent effect. The exposed-bulb styling makes it ideal for warm, decorative filament or LED bulbs that complement the wood's tone.
