Roger Pradier Avenue 4 Post Top Lantern is a classic outdoor post light from the Avenue 4 range by Roger Pradier, designed in France for architectural accenting and reliable exterior illumination. Its tapered, four-sided lantern head and tiered roof with a decorative finial give it a traditional silhouette suited to gardens, driveways and pillar-top mounting.

The design pairs ornate, fluted pedestal detailing with opal or clear structured PMMA diffuser panels to produce a soft, glare-reducing glow. It is available in Gold Patina, Green Patina and Jet Black to suit a range of exteriors and restoration styles.

Built from aluminium with robust diffuser options, the lantern balances weather resistance and classic form. The fluted pedestal and flared mounting foot are engineered for secure fixing to flat surfaces such as brick pillars or stone pedestals, and the finish options include subtle metallic highlights that age gracefully.

Light output is diffused through opal or clear panels for even, comfortable illumination ideal for wayfinding and architectural emphasis rather than intense task lighting. The opaque panels soften glare while the clear-structured option provides a slightly crisper appearance.

The standard version is IP44 with an E27 lamp option; an IP65 LED lantern version is available on request. The product is Class 1 and mounts to a Ø 340mm diameter base. The design also shows provision for an integrated sensor (PIR or dusk-to-dawn photocell) in some configurations.
