The Quintiesse Styx Island Pendant is a linear island pendant from Quintiesse that pairs a minimalist rectangular frame with a sculptural inner cluster to illuminate dining tables and kitchen islands. Its strong geometric silhouette sets a contemporary stage while the interior metallic detail adds theatre.

Design-wise the Styx uses a large open-box rectangular frame in a matte black finish with a textured gilded gold cluster of thin intersecting metal rods inside. The contrast between the rigid outer geometry and the organic, randomized branch-like interior creates striking visual tension from every angle.

Build quality is evident in the multi-faceted, textured gold rods that catch and scatter light, and in the clean, matte finish of the outer frame. The pendant is suspended from a matching black rectangular ceiling canopy by two slender vertical downrods for a tidy, architectural look.

Lighting is provided by integrated LED tape concealed in the top and bottom inner edges of the frame, delivering 55W and approximately 5980 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. The concealed light source illuminates the gilded branches for an indirect, sculptural glow while keeping the LEDs out of sight.

The Styx is fully dimmable when used with a dimmer switch and comes with six rods of varying length for a customisable hanging height; its rigid downrod suspension helps ensure a stable, level installation. The integrated LED tape is included and offers bright, warm illumination for task and ambient use. A two-year manufacturer warranty is provided.
