The Quintiesse Ludlow Pendant is a single pendant ceiling light from Belgian brand Quintiesse. Inspired by Palladian geometry, the Ludlow pairs intersecting square plates and circular cutouts with rustic leather detailing for a striking, sculptural statement in living rooms, dining areas or over kitchen islands.

The pendant’s form is defined by two perpendicular square metal plates with central circular cutouts that create a spherical negative space where they meet. It’s offered in Brushed Graphite and Polished Nickel finishes to suit either darker, textural schemes or brighter metallic interiors.

Built from steel with a textured Brushed Graphite finish (and available in Polished Nickel), the fixture is contrasted by a thick, light-toned genuine cow-hide strap secured with dark metal loop connectors. The mix of industrial metalwork and organic leather gives it a high-contrast, crafted look.

Designed around a central exposed light source, the open-frame design allows multidirectional illumination while the intersecting plates provide selective shielding from certain angles. It works particularly well with an Edison-style filament bulb for a warm, decorative glow.

Installation uses a rigid downrod mounting system with a small square canopy in a matching Brushed Graphite finish, providing stability and a fixed hanging height.
