The Astro Pinhole Recessed Downlight from the Pinhole range is a trimless, fire-rated recessed ceiling downlight designed for architectural illumination. Its matt white exterior and deep black conical baffle deliver a minimalist, high-contrast look while keeping the light source discreet and focused.

Designed with a round aperture set into a square mounting surface, the slimline profile creates a near-seamless finish in the ceiling. The narrow, flush rim and deep 'pinhole' recess reduce visible glare and maintain a clean, uncluttered ceiling plane; the fitting is fixed and non-adjustable once installed.

Built from metal with a textured matt white exterior and a matte black internal baffle, this downlight is made to a professional standard and specified for demanding installations. It is fire-rated and has an IP65 rating for protection in wet or exposed areas.

Lighting performance is focused and architectural: the luminaire accepts a single GU10 lamp (1 x 6W max LED GU10) or can be supplied with LED module options. Available beam choices include narrow and medium beams and colour temperatures shown across 2700K and 3000K, with high 90 CRI options for superior colour rendering.

For correct trimless installation this product must be fitted before the final plaster skim — please consult the installation guide to determine the required trimless set-up. No external driver is required when using GU10 lamps. The product carries a 3-year warranty.
