Design For The People Strap Pendant by BJØRN + BALLE is a Nordic-inspired ceiling pendant that pairs a metal shade with a leather-style strap for a warm, modern statement. Its conical form and mixed-material details give it presence over dining tables, islands or as a solo focal pendant.

The Shade features a clean conical silhouette with a wide lower aperture for direct illumination and a narrower top opening. The Strap range is offered in Beige, Black and White finishes to suit contemporary and classic interiors.

Crafted with attention to detail, the design combines a matte metal shade, a decorative leather-style strap secured with visible rivets and brass-toned hardware for a mixed‑metal look. The pendant ships with two leather straps in brown and black so you can tailor the final look.

Light is directed downward through the open-bottom shade, making this pendant ideal for task-focused zones such as dining and work surfaces. The focused beam reduces glare and creates a defined pool of light for everyday use or layered schemes.
