Design For The People Strap Pendant is a ceiling-hung pendant light from the Strap range, designed by BJØRN + BALLE. The piece pairs metal and leather for a contemporary Nordic look and is built to provide directed, downward illumination for interiors.

The pendant features a bell-shaped shade with a narrow top and wide bottom aperture, and a slim leather strap that loops over the shade and secures with dark metal studs. It’s offered in Black and White; the product is pictured in a textured matte black finish.

Built from a metal shade and a slim leather strap, Strap blends warm, organic leather with an industrial metal form. The narrow leather gives the fixture a warm yet raw character that balances classic and contemporary Scandinavian styling. The pendant comes with two leather straps in brown and black so you can customise the look.

Interior surfaces are lighter to boost reflection and the design provides focused downward light suitable for task or ambient use in residential and commercial interiors. Strap works well over dining tables, kitchen islands or in living spaces where a clean, Nordic statement is wanted.

Installation is straightforward: the cord-hung design allows the drop to be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling heights. The fixture carries an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor use only.
