The Design For The People Stay Wall Light is a bedside reading lamp from the Stay range, designed by Danish designer Maria Berntsen. Its minimalist, industrial‑modern silhouette and directional task focus make it ideal for bedroom lighting and close‑up tasks.

The lamp features an articulated dual‑segment arm and a geometric, truncated conical shade that can be tilted and rotated to aim light precisely. It is available in Black.

Built with a slim profile and a uniform matte metal finish, the Stay wall light pairs clean lines with practical mechanics. The compact circular wall plate keeps the look neat and unobtrusive.

The shade design allows light to emit both upwards and downwards, while the swivel joints and pivoting head give adjustable reach for reading or focused kitchen tasks. This makes the Stay a purposeful task light rather than just ambient decoration.

The fixture is rated IP20 and is designed with a thin power cable descending from the wall mount for plug‑in installation; the on/off control is discreetly placed behind the lamp head for convenient use.
