Design For The People Aver 50 Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant designed by Carlo Volf. The Aver 50 stands out as a decorative interior light that pairs minimalist wire-work with a visible bulb to create a striking focal point for living and dining spaces.

The pendant forms a large, spherical cage from numerous thin, curved vertical ribs that terminate at a neat circular ring. The open-frame silhouette reads visually light while filling the room; the finish shown is a matte black that emphasises the graphic lines of the design.

Built from rigid metal ribs with a cylindrical socket housing at the top, the Aver 50 is engineered to keep its round profile and deliver a refined, architectural look. A single, slender suspension cord supports the sphere and keeps the overall appearance clean and minimal.

The centrally positioned, visible bulb is a key aesthetic and functional element: it provides generous ambient light while the ribbed cage casts elegant linear shadow patterns across surrounding surfaces, making it ideal for creating atmosphere in dining rooms, kitchens and open-plan living areas.
