The Design For The People Aver Pendant, designed by Carlo Volf, is a sculptural ceiling pendant that pairs minimalist Danish design with decorative performance. Its curved, vertical metal wires form a spherical cage that holds a visible globe bulb and creates an engaging visual presence in any room.

The Aver’s open spherical form uses negative space to feel airy while still filling the space with texture. The pendant is shown in a matte black finish and is offered in multiple finish options, so you can pick the look that suits your scheme.

Built from a slender metal wireframe, the Aver balances industrial material with refined geometry for a modern, minimalist aesthetic. The smooth socket housing and uniform finish give it a considered, crafted feel.

Because the light source is exposed inside the cage, the Aver pairs best with an E27 globe bulb (for example G95 or G125 styles) to highlight the filaments and produce patterned shadow play. The cage is open at the bottom for straightforward bulb replacement and a largely unobstructed light output.

The fixture carries an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor use. Bulb is not included; the pendant is compatible with E27 lamps and can be dimmed when used with a dimmable bulb and suitable dimmer. Warranty varies between 2 and 15 years depending on model or registration — check product documentation for details.
