The Design For The People Artist 40 Pendant, designed by Bonnelycke MDD, is a slim, disk-shaped pendant from the Artist range inspired by music and the shape of a cymbal. Its minimalist silhouette and wide, low-profile diameter make it a striking focal point for dining tables, kitchen islands or living areas while maintaining a clean, contemporary look.

The pendant features an ultra-thin, saucer-like shade that tapers to a central conical point where a single suspension cable attaches. The broad underside contains a flat diffuser for even light spread, and the Artist 40 is available in Copper, Grey, Beige and Black to suit a variety of interiors.

Crafted with precision to achieve a nearly two-dimensional side profile, the Artist 40 emphasises refined geometry and a smooth, matte finish. Its single-point suspension and continuous curve from centre to edge give it a calm, modern presence typical of Danish design.

Lighting comes from an integrated LED source that produces soft, diffused downward illumination ideal for task and ambient use. The fixture is dimmable via a compatible wall dimmer and the LEDs offer a long service life, rated around 30,000 hours for reliable everyday use.
