The Nordlux Alton Pendant is a modern ceiling pendant from Danish brand Nordlux. It pairs a flattened, ellipsoidal translucent shade with a matte black cylindrical neck for a sculptural, architectural look and is intended to provide soft, diffused ambient lighting indoors.

The design leans into clean geometry and high-contrast detailing. The distinctive flattened oval silhouette and seamless flared collar create a striking profile. The Alton is available in Smoke Glass and Opal White.

The shade is formed from a smooth, matte translucent material (such as frosted glass or opal acrylic) beneath a matte black cylindrical neck. The integrated collar and shade are designed for a minimal, hardware-free appearance.

The translucent shade diffuses the light source to minimise glare and deliver even illumination suitable for general ambient lighting in living spaces, kitchens and bedrooms.

The fixture is suspended from a single thin white cord and is intended for hardwired installation to a ceiling junction box. The Alton carries an IP20 rating for indoor use.
