The Mullan Lighting Sofia Schoolhouse Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant from Mullan Lighting that channels a 1920s schoolhouse aesthetic with a wide opal glass shade and warm metallic hardware. It’s designed to provide comfortable ambient illumination for kitchens, dining areas and contemporary interiors.

The silhouette pairs a broad, flat-bottomed opal glass shade with a slender, rigid downrod and a simple metal gallery fitter. It’s available in Satin Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Silver, Antique Brass to suit a range of schemes.

Hand-assembled materials include a smooth, satin-opal glass shade and a warm metallic fitter secured with visible thumb screws. The rigid downrod gives a neat, fixed drop and the fixture is manufactured to order in Mullan Village.

The opal glass fully encloses the lamp to soften and diffuse light for glare-free, even illumination. This pendant looks best with a warm-toned bulb for cosy ambient lighting and is ideal above dining tables, kitchen islands and in layered general lighting schemes. IP20 rating means it is for indoor use only.

Bulbs are sold separately. The fitting is Class I (requires an earth) and meets UL standards for installation in the United States and Canada. As a made-to-order item it is typically dispatched within 2–3 weeks and is covered for manufacturer defects only; normal returns may not apply.
