The Mullan Lighting Riad Surface-Mounted Ceiling Light from Mullan Lighting pairs a perfectly spherical clear-glass globe with dark metallic hardware for a transitional, industrial-meets-modern look. Designed for ambient overhead illumination, it suits foyers, dining areas and living rooms while working well in spaces with limited ceiling clearance.

Its design centres on a transparent glass sphere held by a stepped metal collar and circular canopy, with three decorative thumbscrews securing the shade. The exposed bulb becomes a deliberate styling element. The fixture is offered in a selection of metallic finishes and comes in Small, Medium and Large sizes.

Built from metal hardware and a clear blown-glass shade, the Riad shows subtle tonal variations in the metalwork for an aged, characterful appearance. The globe is mounted to highlight craftsmanship details like the stepped collar and visible fixing screws.

The fully transparent sphere delivers unobstructed 360-degree light dispersion, making the bulb a visual focal point. It looks particularly striking with Edison-style filament bulbs for a warm, soft glow; bulbs are sold separately.
