The Mullan Lighting Quin Downlight is a surface-mounted ceiling downlight from Mullan Lighting. This minimalist cylindrical fixture is designed for flush installation and delivers focused, downward illumination suited to kitchens, restaurants and other interior spaces that need clean, directional lighting.

The Quin’s form is deliberately simple: a vertical metal cylinder with a two-part construction and a subtle horizontal seam that gives the design geometric clarity. The light is offered in a range of finishes to suit modern and traditional schemes, including metallic and painted options.

Built from metal with a finely finished surface, the Quin shows careful attention to detail. The two-part cylinder allows the lower section to be removed for easy bulb replacement, and each unit is manufactured to order in Mullan Village, Ireland, ensuring quality control on every piece.

Lighting is provided by a recessed GU10 lamp holder that minimises glare while producing a neat downlight beam. The Quin is ideal for task-focused runs — place several in a row for visual rhythm and consistent illumination in kitchens, bars or low-ceilinged areas.

Practical notes: GU10 bulbs are sold separately. The fixture is Class I (requires an earth connection), carries an IP20 rating for interior use and meets CE and UL safety standards where applicable. Units are made to order and typically dispatch in 2–3 weeks; warranty covers manufacturer defects only.
