The Mullan Lighting Mica Pendant is a striking globe pendant from Mullan Lighting's Mica range. Its distinctive half-and-half silhouette pairs a solid metal dome with a glass lower hemisphere, creating a contemporary focal light designed for interior ceilings and suitable for damp zones such as bathrooms.

Design-wise the pendant splits the sphere horizontally: a polished metal dome sits above a clear or opal glass globe to form a sharp, sculptural line. The Mica is offered in Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Natural Brass, Antique Silver and Antique Brass, with glass available in Opal or Clear to suit different looks.

Crafted with attention to detail, the top cowl is secured by small decorative thumb screws and meets the globe via a stepped cylindrical neck and cap. The pendant hangs from a single thin black cord and is manufactured to order in Mullan Village, reflecting careful assembly and quality control.

Light is directed downward by the metal cowl while the transparent lower hemisphere reveals a single lamp, making the Mica ideal over vanities, islands or reception areas where a statement pendant is needed without upward glare. The design accommodates a visible decorative bulb for added character.

Practical notes: the Mica carries an IP44 rating for use in damp locations, is Class II double insulated (no earth connection required), and is supplied with one metre of braided cable. The product is CE marked, UL certified for North American installation, and is manufactured to order with a typical dispatch of 2–3 weeks.
