The Mullan Lighting Bog Pendant is a low-profile ceiling pendant from Mullan Lighting's Bog range. The design pairs a flat, circular plaster or ceramic shade with warm metalwork to create a decorative yet functional interior light, specified for use as a standard pendant or bathroom ceiling light.

Its disk-like shade sits above an exposed teardrop-style lamp and is suspended on a dark brown fabric cord. The contrast between the organic white plaster shade and the warm brass fittings is a defining feature. Available finishes include Satin Brass, Polished Brass, Matt Black, Antique Silver and Antique Brass.

The shade is moulded from plaster or ceramic and features a distinctive radial texture on the underside, giving the piece an artisanal, handcrafted feel. Metal socket components provide a smooth counterpoint to the textured shade, while the fabric cord adds a tactile finishing touch.

This exposed-bulb design gives direct downward illumination while the flat shade reflects and softens the light. The radial moulding on the underside becomes more prominent when the lamp is lit, making the pendant equally suited to task, corridor or accent lighting as well as bathroom ceilings where a design-led fixture is required.

Practical details include an IP44 rating for splash protection and a small set screw at the top of the brass neck that secures the cord and allows height adjustment during installation. The fixture is designed to take a decorative teardrop filament lamp to complement the aesthetic.
