The Marset Pleat Box Pendant is a sculptural ceramic pendant designed by Xavier Mañosa for the Pleat Box range. The lamp translates digitally designed fabric creases into a solid ceramic form and is intended to deliver focused, downward-directed illumination for modern interiors.

The pendant features a tapered, elongated silhouette with deep vertical pleats at the top that flow into a smooth lower section and a clean open base. The collection is offered in a wide range of exterior finishes, and each shade is available with either a brilliant white enamel or a 24-carat gold plated interior to alter the light quality.

Handcrafted in ceramic (plaster/ceramic), each Pleat Box pendant is formed to mimic soft textile movement while retaining the solidity of clay. Xavier Mañosa’s process fuses clay with different enamels, producing textured surfaces and subtle variations that underline the collection’s artisanal quality.

The white interior reflects light for a bright, clear downward glow, while the gold-plated interior produces a warmer, more intimate light. The open-bottom design gives direct task illumination and the opaque, pleated sides help prevent glare. The Pleat Box range is also offered with integrated LED options, including 4.05W and 8W variants.

Fitted with a fabric electrical cord and ceramic canopy, the pendant suspends from a single cable that can be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling heights. Warranty: 2 years (defects only). Specific lamp, driver or fitting details depend on the selected variant.
