The Marset Nº8 Bedside Reading Light, designed by Christophe Mathieu, is a wall-mounted bedside light that pairs industrial matte black metal with a turned wooden head for focused bedroom illumination.

The design centres on a flat, circular wall plate and a long flexible gooseneck arm finished in a black braided textile sleeve. The wooden diffuser is turned into a smooth teardrop form and the light is available in Oak and Wenge finishes.

Crafted from a lacquered black metal plate and a flexible brass arm covered in braided fabric, the Nº8 highlights the contrast between tactile textile and warm natural wood. The turned wooden head shows visible grain and a minimalist sculptural quality.

The recessed light source delivers a focused, low-glare beam suitable for reading and other bedside tasks. An integrated LED provides directional task light while the flexible arm lets you aim illumination precisely where you need it.

Dimensions: 425 x 115 mm. The fixture includes an integrated horizontal rocker switch on the wall base for easy manual control. The lamp ships with an LED module: 3W, 700mA, 2700K, 150lm (included). The product carries a 2-year, defects-only warranty.
