The Marset Jaima Outdoor Ceiling Light from the Jaima range, designed by Joan Gaspar for Marset, is an outdoor pendant that uses a flexible textilene shade to create a lightweight, fabric-like silhouette. It’s intended for covered ceilings and sheltered outdoor areas where a textile aesthetic and refined presence are wanted.

The shade is built as a bipartite form with a conical top section and a wide, gently tapered body. The semi-transparent mesh exterior allows light to sift through while the inner surface is finished white to optimise downward illumination. Available in Grey, Beige and Blue.

The Jaima shade is woven from durable textilene and includes a reinforced trim at the lower opening to maintain its shape. The canopy and supporting structure are lacquered grey, giving a tidy, architectural finish to the suspension.

Its mesh construction balances direct downward light with a soft horizontal glow that creates a warm, sifted ambience. The white interior increases reflectivity so the pendant performs well above dining tables, porches and covered terraces.

This model is IP65 rated for outdoor use and designed for ceiling suspension; the canopy and suspension hardware are integrated into the fixture. The product is covered by a 2 year defects-only warranty.
