The Marset Ginger Floor Lamp, designed by Joan Gaspar for the Ginger range, is a cantilevered floor lamp that brings pendant-style, overhead illumination without needing ceiling wiring. Its slim silhouette and long reach are ideal for lounge areas, dining tables or workspaces where subtle, indirect light is required.

Ginger’s design pairs a flat, disk-shaped pressed-wood diffuser with an exceptionally long, thin carbon-fibre arm and a slender vertical stem. The stem, base and arm are finished in matte black lacquer while the diffuser is offered in natural Oak or Wenge, keeping the look minimal and architectural.

Crafted for a light physical presence, the diffuser is a 4 mm pressed-wood laminate that provides a warm, textured face with a light-toned underside for soft diffusion. The lamp also incorporates an injected-aluminium dissipater and a weighted circular base to stabilise the cantilevered arm.

Lighting is indirect: a small cup beneath the disk houses the source so the shade casts broad, glare-free illumination similar to a suspended pendant. The horizontal arm mounts to the stem with adjustable joints and the shade hangs from a thin cable so it remains level as you tilt or pivot the arm.
