The Marset Ginger Wall Light is a decorative cantilever wall light from Marset’s Ginger range, designed by Joan Gaspar. Its slender horizontal arm and saucer-shaped shade make it ideal for bedside, desk or dining illumination where a long reach and refined presence are needed.

Ginger’s form speaks minimal, industrial-inspired design: a very long, slim arm extends from a compact wall bracket and pivots to sweep in a wide arc. The external finish is matte black while the interior of the primary disk is white to reflect light downwards. It’s available in Wenge RSC and Oak RSC.

Craftsmanship pairs natural and technical materials — a 4 mm pressed wood diffuser in natural oak or wenge sits beneath the saucer, complemented by an injected aluminium dissipater and a metal stem lacquered in matte black. The movable arm is made from carbon fibre and lacquered in black for a lightweight yet sturdy cantilever.

The shade uses a dual-component system: a smaller central bowl diffuses the lamp while the larger upper disk reflects and softens the output for indirect, glare-controlled illumination. That setup gives focused task light with a gentle ambient lift — great for reading, working or lighting a table without ceiling wiring.

Installation is flexible: the lamp is offered with plug, canopy, and recessed canopy options. The power cord is routed through the arm and can be left as a plug-in for easy placement or finished via a canopy for a cleaner hardwired look. The wall bracket features a pivoting mechanism for horizontal adjustment.
