The Marset Discoco Pendant is a sculptural pendant ceiling light by Christophe Mathieu for Marset’s Discoco range, blending mid‑century modern cues with contemporary form to act as a striking interior centrepiece.

Its spherical, tiered structure is built from multiple overlapping circular discs arranged in concentric layers, creating an organic silhouette reminiscent of a pinecone or artichoke. The discs show a warm copper or rose‑gold tone contrasted with a polished chrome central hub and radiating spokes.

Carefully engineered details include 35 opaque ABS discs mounted on thin metal arms that radiate from a chrome sphere, producing precise geometry and durable lightweight construction.

The layered disc arrangement shields the internal light source, producing a soft, diffused and indirect glow that minimises glare. Light filters through the gaps between discs to pick out the metallic surfaces and emphasise the tiered form.

The pendant is suspended from a thin, transparent or white power cord with a separate tension wire for stability. Lamps, driver and IP rating vary by variant and are not specified here; the product carries a 2‑year defects‑only warranty.
