The Marset Copernica Floor Lamp by Ramírez i Carrillo is a sculptural floor lamp that pairs architectural form with practical task lighting. Its minimalist, kinetic silhouette and bold red counterweight make it as much a statement piece as a functional light for living rooms, reading nooks or studios.

A thin vertical stem rises from a flat circular base to support a long linear boom that pivots at a central joint. A small hemispherical lamp head sits at one end while a lacquered red circular counterweight balances the reach at the other. The Copernica is available in Graphite-Red-Black and Graphite-Satin Nickel-Black finishes.

Build quality is straightforward and honest: the structure is offered in satin nickel or graphite while the base and counterweight are lacquered steel. The tiltable diffuser is aluminium and the main frame and lamphead are metal for a durable, architectural feel.

The tiltable aluminium diffuser and pivoting boom let you direct light precisely, making the Copernica ideal for reading, task work or highlighting a seating area. A built-in switch on the diffuser and a three-position dimmer give quick control over beam intensity and ambience.

As a freestanding floor lamp the Copernica simply plugs in and sits on a slim circular base; a discreet black cord routes through the pivot to the base for a tidy look.
