Marset Cala Floor Lamp by Joan Gaspar from the Cala range is a sculptural floor lamp that brings warm, ambient light to living rooms and reading corners. The design pairs a tall, cylindrical drum shade with a distinctive intersecting tripod base for a modern yet natural presence.

The oversized drum shade is finished in a neutral white polyester film and features a lower methacrylate diffuser to soften glare. The tripod base is crafted from varnished oak with rectangular legs that cross in an intentional hourglass silhouette, and visible dark screw hardware adds an industrial contrast to the wood.

Build quality mixes natural timber and engineered materials: a varnished oak structure supports a PVC/PET laminated polyester shade, with methacrylate and other plastics used where optical diffusion and durability are needed. The wide-footprint tripod and horizontal cross-bars give reliable stability on flat floors.

Light is dispersed evenly through the drum and lower diffuser for comfortable ambient illumination. The lamp is wired for 120 V - 60 Hz and accepts three E26 lamps; compatible lamp types listed by the manufacturer include CFL T4 20W, A19 60W and LED A 11W options to suit different preferences for efficiency and warmth.

An integrated black circular foot switch sits on the power cord for easy on/off operation at your feet, and the cord runs through the centre of the wooden frame for a neat appearance. The product comes with a 2 year defects-only warranty as stated by the manufacturer.
