The Lodes Volum Pendant is a minimalist ceiling pendant from Lodes' Volum collection, conceived by an international design studio to reinterpret a classic lighting archetype. Its spherical form is intended to deliver uniform ambient illumination across interior spaces.

The design centres on a perfectly spherical, opal-style matte globe suspended from a single ultra-thin cable so the lit sphere appears to float. The simple orb silhouette keeps the focus on shape and soft radiance while remaining quietly contemporary.

Crafted to celebrate glassmaking, the diffuser's translucent, satin surface reduces glare while spreading light evenly. The smooth, high-quality finish suggests opal glass or an opal-effect material and emphasises understated workmanship.

Volum is designed for 360-degree diffused light, creating a calming, coherent glow ideal for living rooms, dining areas and hallways. The softly diffused output makes it an excellent ambient source or part of a layered lighting scheme.
