Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp is the iconic floor arc lamp from the Twiggy range, designed by Marc Sadler in Italy. The lamp pairs a slender, high-reaching arched rod with a generous drum diffuser, making it ideal for suspending light over seating or dining areas while delivering both direct task light and cosy ambient glow.

The Twiggy's form is deliberately elegant: a fine fibreglass-based composite rod arches out from a low-profile metal disc base to present a large drum shade that visually floats. The lamp is available in Grey and Black finishes, with a light, wood-toned textured exterior on the diffuser for a warm, natural look.

Craftsmanship is clear in the material choices — the rod and diffuser are made from a fibreglass-based composite and liquid coated for a smooth, durable finish, while the base is epoxy powder coated metal. The diffuser uses a translucent polycarbonate upper disc and a PMMA lower disc with a polyprismatic internal surface for balanced light distribution.

Lighting performance is driven by an integrated double-sided LED board mounted on an aluminium disc, protected by a small PMMA cover. The open-bottom drum delivers direct downward light while the upper diffuser disc softens upward spill, making Twiggy suitable for both task and ambient lighting in living and dining spaces.

Practical details include a weighted circular base and four counter-weights supplied to fine-tune the shade height, plus a transparent cable fitted with a dimmer that doubles as the on/off control. Additional arc-extending rods are available on request. The lamp carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and includes a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
