Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp is a Marc Sadler design from the Twiggy range that turns a formal concept of lightness into a functional floor lamp. Its large cylindrical diffuser and exceptionally slender stem make it ideal for the lounge, bedroom or a reading corner, delivering both direct and indirect illumination.

The lamp pairs a thin vertical rod with a wide drum-shaped shade to create a striking contrast of volumes. It follows a minimalist, monochrome aesthetic and is available in Black and White finishes to suit modern interiors.

Build quality is obvious in the material choices: the rod and diffuser are made from a fibreglass-based composite with a liquid coating, while the base is an epoxy powder coated metal with a low-profile circular form for stable support. The shade includes translucent internal discs for even diffusion.

Light is emitted both downwards for task lighting and upwards for soft ambient glow; a polycarbonate upper disc and a PMMA lower disc with a polyprismatic internal surface help distribute light smoothly, making the lamp great for reading and general room ambience.

The transparent power cable exits centrally from the base and is fitted with an inline dimmer that doubles as the on/off control and lets you dial the light level up or down. The fixture is rated IP20 and comes with a one-year warranty.
