The Foscarini Twiggy Outdoor Floor Lamp is a Twiggy-range reading lamp by Marc Newson, designed as a formal study in lightness. The slim vertical stem and voluminous woven diffuser create a sculptural profile that performs equally well indoors and out, delivering focused downlight for reading and a decorative side glow.

Its design pairs a needle-thin rod with a distinctive hand-plied woven diffuser made from ribbons of fibreglass-based composite, finished in a monochrome colourway. The lamp is available in Carmine and Greige so you can choose a bold or subtle look that suits your space.

Craftsmanship is central: the diffuser is built by manually plaiting composite ribbons onto a mould, then hand-coated to seal the weave. A laser-engraved transparent PMMA sheet and an opaline PMMA disc sit within an aluminium frame that acts as a heat dissipator. The round base is polyester powder-coated metal for superior UV, weather and chemical resistance, while the electrical cable is neoprene-coated for outdoor use.

Lighting comes from multichip LEDs mounted around the perimeter of the aluminium frame; the internal PMMA layers screen and diffuse the output so you get a comfortable, direct downlight for reading plus a gentle ambient glow through the woven surface.

The Twiggy Outdoor Floor Lamp is IP65 rated for outdoor conditions. It includes the integrated multichip LED assembly and a transformer mounted on the cable, fitted with a Schuko plug and terminal board; there is no push-button panel. The product is covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
