The Foscarini Tress Wall Washer, designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, is an architectural wall light that uses a woven composite diffuser to create a graphic, scenic effect. Its vertical cylindrical silhouette and open-weave centre are made to deliver indirect, semi-diffused illumination ideal for hallways, living rooms and feature walls.

The Tress range interprets a hand-wrapped textile in a rigid fibreglass-based composite, modelled as overlapping tape and finished with a liquid coat. It is available in Black and White and offered in two sizes to suit different wall scales.

Construction combines a textured lattice-like diffuser with solid top and bottom rims for a defined silhouette. The wall mounting plate and internal housing are made from aluminium with an epoxy powder coat and include die-cast zamak components for secure, long-lasting support.

Light filters through the irregular apertures in the woven middle section to cast striking shadow patterns while supplying soft, indirect illumination. The semi-transparent diffuser acts as the primary light-modifying element to ensure scenic yet practical wall washing.
