Foscarini Tress Floor Lamp is a sculptural floor lamp by Foscarini, designed by Marc Sadler. Its ribbon-like fibreglass-based composite body and slender, tapered column give it a striking presence that works as much as modern sculpture as it does ambient lighting for living spaces.

The form is an open-work lattice of overlapping fibreglass strips that envelop the lamp like a twisted ribbon, finished with solid bands at the top and base. It is offered in Greige, Black, and White to suit a variety of interiors.

Crafted by modelling tape along a mould, the diffuser keeps an organic, hand-woven appearance and is epoxy powder coated for a uniform finish. The design also features an aluminium upper parabola and a hollow interior that safely houses the internal light sources.

Light filters through the irregular gaps in the weave to produce soft, diffused illumination and an extraordinary game of shapes and shadows. The large version includes two separate light sources (one at the tip and one in the base) while the medium version has a single source in the base, allowing for flexible, layered lighting.

The transparent cable is fitted with a dimmer that adjusts the luminous intensity of the upper source and can be used as the on/off switch for the lower source. The lamp carries an IP20 rating and a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
