Foscarini Sun - Light of Love Pendant by designer Tord Boontje is a sculptural suspension ceiling light that reads like a modern sunburst. Part of Foscarini’s Sun range, it pairs geometric precision with organic movement to create a strong decorative presence for living rooms, dining areas or entrance halls.

The lamp's spherical form is built from approximately 390 individual cold‑pressed steel rays arranged in overlapping layers for a blurred, floating outline. It is offered in Gold and White finishes to suit a range of interiors.

Each ray is a long, slightly curved metal strip with rounded ends, mechanically jointed to a hidden central core. All metal parts are powder coated in a matt finish, giving a warm, non‑reflective surface that emphasises depth and texture.

Light is produced from a central double source and is both directed downward and diffused upward through the gaps between the rays. The dense arrangement masks the internal bulbs while scattering light for an ambient, cosy atmosphere around a table or across a room.

Suspension is via a three‑point system of thin, high‑strength steel cables with a transparent power cord that spirals to the ceiling canopy. The pendant is rated IP20 for indoor use and comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
