The Foscarini Spokes Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant from the Spokes range by Foscarini. Its oblate-spheroid, flattened‑globe silhouette is formed from numerous thin, vertically curved steel rods to create a striking open‑cage piece designed for interior suspension that combines functional illumination with decorative presence.

The design uses a dense arrangement of fine steel spokes that read lightweight and transparent from afar yet deliver strong visual volume close up. The Spokes pendant is offered in Copper, Gold, Graphite, Black, and White finishes and features top discs in ABS/polycarbonate with a central aluminium module at the base.

Built with powder‑coated steel rods and an aluminium central module that acts as the housing and heat sink for the light source, the construction feels precise and engineered. The suspension system uses a thin stainless steel cable while the electrical cable is discreetly routed inside one of the vertical spokes to minimise visual clutter.

Lighting is provided by two integrated LED boards housed in the central aluminium module for multi‑directional light distribution. The open‑work cage filters and projects light to create graphic shadow patterns and moiré‑like effects on nearby walls and ceilings, making it ideal as a focal fitting over dining tables, in living rooms or entrance spaces.

The fitting is rated IP20 for internal use. It includes the stainless suspension cable, a transparent electrical cable routed within a spoke, and a ceiling rose with a metal bracket and white glossy ABS cover. Foscarini provides a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
