Foscarini Soffio Table Lamp

Foscarini Soffio Table Lamp is a large table lamp from Foscarini, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The lamp pairs a monolithic silhouette with refined materials to deliver soft, diffused ambient illumination for indoor spaces.

The design features a tall, flared cylindrical blown‑glass body that widens from a narrow base to a broader top. The diffuser shows a gradual finish that transitions from opaque white at the top to fully transparent at the base, creating a subtle floating effect when lit. A flat anodised aluminium disk sits flush atop the glass and functions as the touch‑sensitive dimmer.

Craftsmanship is central to Soffio: each diffuser is hand‑blown so the shaded gradation is unique to every piece. Inside the upper white section the LED module is concealed, and a thin aluminium tube with a wrapped LED strip is screened by an opaline polycarbonate cylinder for even distribution. A transparent power cable exits from the base and the transformer is integrated on the plug.

Lighting performance is warm and intense yet softly diffused. The included LED is rated at 13.8W, 2700K and around 1300lm with CRI >80, and the anodised disk offers a three‑level touch dimmer (three brightness levels plus on/off) for easy mood control. A small light point appears through a capped hole in the cover when switched on, adding a delicate detail to the glow.

The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use and comes with a transformer on the plug and a one‑year manufacturer warranty. Its concealed light source and seamless form mean there are no visible switches or hardware — just pure, calming light.
