Foscarini Satellight Pendant

The Foscarini Satellight Pendant suspension lamp, designed by Eugeni Quitllet, is a poetic ceiling pendant that pairs sculptural form with practical illumination. Entirely hand-blown, the Satellight combines a clear conical outer shade with an inner white globe to create a suspended, celestial aesthetic suitable for dining areas, kitchens and living spaces.

The Satellight uses a nested two-piece glass construction: a transparent blown-glass cone encases a glossy white blown-glass diffuser, creating the illusion of a luminous sphere floating inside a clear envelope. The design reduces visual clutter with a thin stainless-steel suspension wire and a transparent electrical cable that lets the glass take centre stage.

Both elements are hand-blown in glass, showing subtle artisanal variation and refined finishes. The canopy includes a galvanised metal bracket and a glossy white batch-dyed ABS cover for a clean ceiling connection.

The inner white globe acts as an effective diffuser to eliminate glare while the open base of the cone delivers direct downward light, so the Satellight provides both soft ambient illumination and focused task light. It transmits a warm, soft glow ideal for intimate settings and daily living.

The lamp is supplied with an E27 LED retrofit lamp (21W, 2700K, 2451lm, CRI >80) and is dimmable with compatible dimmers. Suspension is via a stainless-steel cable with a transparent power cord; IP20 rated. A canopy decentralisation kit is available for off-centre mounting.
