Foscarini Rituals 3 Pendant

The Foscarini Rituals 3 Pendant, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, reinterprets the soft glow of Oriental paper lanterns as a contemporary blown‑glass ceiling pendant. Its compact form is ideal for dining tables, lounges and living areas where cosy, evenly diffused ambient light is desired.

The pendant features a bulbous, slightly flattened ovoid diffuser with horizontal, irregular ridges that give a subtle striped effect. A thin structural suspension wire and a deliberately wavy power cable create a contrasting visual line that complements the organic glass form.

Each diffuser is mouth‑blown and finished using a mould with negative decorations; the surface is then manually ground and immersed in acid to emphasise a plaster‑like, matte texture. The ceiling mounting plate is finished in epoxy powder coated metal for a clean, durable canopy.

The Rituals 3 provides soft, even illumination thanks to its translucent blown glass. An E27 LED retrofit bulb (11W, 2700K, 1521 lm, CRI >80) is included and is dimmable, making the pendant suitable for relaxed ambient lighting in domestic and hospitality settings. The fixture has an IP20 rating for indoor use.

Suspension height is adjustable at fitting and extended drops are available on request (H. 10 m on demand). The pendant is supplied with the ceiling mounting plate and the included retrofit lamp for straightforward installation.
