Foscarini Rituals Suspension Lamp

Foscarini Rituals Suspension Lamp is a statement pendant from the Rituals range by designers Ludovica Serafini & Roberto Palomba. Inspired by traditional paper lanterns and made in hand‑blown glass, it brings soft, diffused ambient light to indoor living spaces while referencing a long Venetian glassmaking tradition.

The lamp’s broad, slightly flattened silhouette and slim, horizontal engravings give it an organic, washi‑like look that complements contemporary and classic interiors. It’s offered alongside other complementary shapes within the Rituals family to let you mix and match forms for layered lighting.

Crafted in blown glass with a matt, plaster‑like “gessoso” texture, the shade is worked to create a striped, tactile surface. The finish is achieved through moulding, manual grinding and acid treatment to emphasise the plaster effect and the hand‑made character of each piece.

With a wide translucent diffuser the Rituals Suspension Lamp delivers a warm, sunny glow that gently hides the internal lamp, making it ideal as a soft ambient source over dining tables, seating areas or hallways where a calm, enveloping light is desired.

Suspension is via a stainless steel support cable accompanied by a separate, undulating transparent power cable. The ceiling canopy includes a galvanised metal bracket and a matt white batch‑dyed ABS cover. IP20 rating; a canopy decentralisation kit and multiple canopy options are available to group up to 6 or 9 pendants.
