The Foscarini Rituals Pendant is a blown-glass ceiling pendant designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. Part of the Rituals range, it channels the form of traditional paper lanterns with an elongated, cocoon-like profile, made to deliver soft ambient illumination in interior spaces.

The shade shows a rounded, beehive-like silhouette defined by continuous horizontal ribbing and a translucent, satin-white appearance that gently scatters light. The suspension pairs a thin straight support wire with a sinuous power cord for a contemporary, dynamic look.

Rituals is produced in blown glass, drawing on a thousand-year Venetian tradition to combine artisanal technique with contemporary minimalism. The textured surface references craft techniques such as turned pottery while remaining elegantly sculptural when unlit.

When lit, the ribbed glass diffuses a caressing, suffused glow suited to living areas, dining spaces and bedrooms where soft ambient light is desired. The textured ribs create subtle variations in intensity for a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

The pendant hangs from a ceiling canopy with an adjustable suspension; extended drops are available — heights up to 10 m on request. The fixture carries an IP20 rating and is intended for dry, indoor use.
