The Foscarini Plena Pendant is a sculptural suspension pendant designed by Eugenio Gargioni and Guillaume Albouy for Foscarini. Built around a special high-reflectivity canvas, this pendant delivers soft, enveloping ambient light while remaining glare-free — ideal for dining tables and general room illumination.

Plena's form is characterised by a large, organic saddle-shaped diffuser pulled into a fluid, sail‑like curve by an outer ring. The ultra-slim, wave-like silhouette and a thin white perimeter frame create a minimalist, modern presence that reads as light and dynamic in any interior.

Crafted for visual lightness, the fixture uses a matte, high-reflectivity flexible membrane supported by a slender white frame and a shallow circular ceiling canopy. The lack of visible hardware and the monochrome white finish emphasise its clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Light is produced by an integrated source mounted within the frame that projects onto the curved surface, producing both reflected downward illumination and gentle upward diffusion. The result is a soft, enveloping glow that lights a room without direct glare.

The pendant is suspended from two thin tension cables and mounts to the ceiling via a circular canopy. It carries an IP20 rating for indoor use and includes a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
