The design centres on a domed, semi-spherical diffuser of textured white washi paper that gently filters light. The shade rests on four tapered ash legs, producing an airy, minimalist profile that suits bedside tables, sideboards or quiet corners.

Kurage is made using artisanal techniques: 3D-shaped washi paper retains its form without a visible external frame, while precision-cut ash provides a warm natural base. The organic grain of the paper and the subtle irregularity of the rim give each piece a unique, tactile character.
